WELCOME TO JEMISON CLASS!
Jemison Class is one of our two Reception classes.
Mrs Capehorn and Miss Seeley are our teachers, supported each day by Mrs Stanyer.
Our wider EYFS team includes Mrs Sparks, Mrs Steele and Mrs Luscombe. All of the EYFS adults work closely together and know the children in both Jemison and Shackleton classes well. We also encourage the children to play, work and learn together.
Our class is named after Mae Jemison, an American engineer, physician and former NASA astronaut. She became the first black woman to explore space when she served on board the Space Shuttle Endeavour.

Miss Seeley teaches in Jemison Class with Mrs Capehorn and she also teaches in Shackleton class some of the time so knows all of our Explorer Children very well!
