Johnson Class (Y5)

Welcome to Johnson class!

Our class is a team - we are pioneers, educators, leaders and learners of the 21st century!

Johnson Class is one of our Year Five class and we form part of The Pioneers Stage. Our class is named after Katherine Johnson. Her pioneering work using her mathematics skills, she helped NASA send astronauts to the moon and return them safely home. She also overcame racial and gender hurdles that helped make giant leaps for humankind.

Hi, I’m Mr Searle and I will be the class teacher for Johnson class!

I am really looking forward to the year ahead and all of the different activities, trips and the very exciting year 5 residential. We have lots of exciting learning opportunities ahead in our STEAM curriculum.
